Leaving in the morning for Door County, Wisconsin. Traveling with the rest of the Cumberland Society and a few guests to paint for a week on the little peninsula that is Door County. I have been told by other artists that have been there that it is fabulous with a wide diversity of things to paint.
I will post when I get back in a week.

I'm curious Kevin... why is such a large group of artists traveling to Door County to paint right after the big plein air festival that was just there? Is it that great of a location?
Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner, but I was in.......Door County. The reason we went to Door County is that the lady who organized it, Dawn Whitelaw, is teaching a class at the Peninsula School of Art and wanted to kill two birds with one stone by having us join her the week before to paint. And yes, it is that great of a location. It's beautiful.
