Corner Market

Painted this little market/cafe yesterday in a little community in Rutherford County called Christiana. Apparently it serves a pretty good lunch because by the time I finished, the parking lot you' re looking at was covered up. When I started, no one. I pass this building everytime I go to Bell Buckle and everytime I pass I tell myself I am going to paint it. Finally.

Another beautiful piece...I really like your palette....and the abstract feel to the trees.

Thanks for the comments!
As far as the palette I use a three color palette, U. Blue, Cad. Scarlet, and Cad. Lemon. I actually added Viridian a while back and I don't know what to do with it. It just sits there and dries out. I actually thought it might help in my chroma loss when I try to paint those bright sunlit greens but so far it has just been a bit garish.

This is my kind of painting. I use that palette sometimes as well because you told me about it. It works well but I need add a Nap Red or Aliz Crimson to it. I had a good time at the Hendersonville shaow and sold a couple of pieces. Met lot's of nice people.
