I also forgot to say I like how there is just a tiny bit of sky showing in the composition of the second one. I don't often do this but always like the compositions that don't show all the sky. This one is fabulous too!
Glad to see the blog posts keep a-comin! I'm also a fan of the bare trunks and the distant hill. On the other painting, I like how you caught the tree right when its new leaves are in big central clumps. That's when the weather is at its best around here!
